TE Connectivity

TE Connectivity develops housings which are used in glass fibre networks. Whether it is a rack in the central or a connection inside a customer’s home and everything in between.

Frist supports with the development of closures and organisers. By massive testings like impact, water ingress and material choices, TE is capable of bringing high quality products on the market which are ip68 classified.

These closures are used outside or below ground surface, sometimes around the world. This makes that we have to take into account a great variation in temperature. The housings need to withstand these variations and need to be reinforced. Internally we are bounded by the design rules of glass fibre, the needed splicing capacity and density.
